IME Major Activities
POSTECH 산업경영공학과는 국내외 학계에서 큰 리더십을 발휘하고 있습니다.
정민근 명예교수는 재단법인한국연구재단의 이사장을 역임하였으며, 정무영 명예교수는 울산과학기술원(UNIST) 2~3대 총장을 역임하였습니다.
또한, 많은 학과 교수님들께서 ‘국제경영과학회’, ‘아시아 인간공학회’, ‘아시아-태평양 산업공학/경영시스템 학회’, ‘대한산업공학회’, ‘한국경영과학회’, ‘대한인간공학회’ 등 국내외 주요 학회에서 회장 등 주요 역할들을 맡고있고, IISE(Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers) Transactions, International Journal of Production Research (IJPR), International Journal of Industrial Engineering (IJIE), Human Technology 등 국내외 주요 학술지의 편집위원으로 활동 중에 있습니다.
이러한 리더십을 바탕으로 많은 동문들을 학계로 진출로 시키고 있습니다.
